Impressionist landscape



To create this impressionist landscape, I first found a landscape picture on the internet. After, I created a new layer and used different paint brush textures and styles to shade in the picture.

Celebrity with animal name



For this assignment, I found a picture of Snoop Dogg and put picture of a dogs face on. I first cut out a dogs face and added it to the picture of Snoop Dogg. After, I blended the dog face with the photo to make it look more realistic and then erased the background. After, I added a border and added the photo of Snoop Dogg in the final photo.

For my 9 panel assignment, I wanted to make a scary story. My story is about two people trying to hunt down zombies who are killing their city, but end up being attacked. To create this cartoon, I created each panel on a separate file and combined all of them onto three different files when I was finished making all the panels.

bird coloring page assignment


For my bird assignment, I picked a hummingbird to color. I used very bright feathers. I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out the feathers and transfer it to the final file. I repeated this process and filled it until there was no blank spaces remaining.

Shaded scene of Haunted House



For this project, I found a blank cartoon of a haunted house and shaded it. After, I added three cartoon characters. I wanted the cartoon to look scary, so I used dark colors. I used a fill pattern for the walkway, and the rest was shaded as a solid color. After I finished shading in the cartoon, I added three characters. To add them, I used the magnetic lasso tool and traced them on a separate file. Then I dragged the characters to the final file.

My saying for my Edward Gorey picture is "T for Tessanya who got food poisoning from lasagna. To create my Edward Gorey picture, I dragged photos/cutouts from another file and transferred it to the final file. I used the cookie cutter tool to do this. The hardest part of this project was knowing how to cut out the photo and drag it.

Where's Waldo


To create my own "Where's Waldo, I first downloaded the picture of Waldo and added my face. After, I chose a new file and started dragging images/clipart onto the new file. To add the image, I had to add it on a separate file, cut it with the magnetic lasso tool, and then move it to the final file. After, I added Waldo to the photo. This project took a long time because I had to find photos and clipart from the internet, cut it, and drag it to the final file. I had to do this one at a time when there is about 60-70 images.

Celebrity Coloring book




For this assignment, the celebrity I picked was Selena Gomez. All I had to do was trace the picture. The hardest parts to trace were the eyes and the nose. It was difficult to trace them and make them look realistic. The easiest parts to trace were the lips and dress. After I finished tracing, I deleted the original layer.

Cartoon Myself




To cartoon myself, I first took a picture in photo booth. When I uploaded the photo on photoshop, I addd a new layer and traced the image. After, I started filling the image with color and making a cartoon of myself. When I finished filling the image, I added a new layer and contoured the background. I used four different colors and then used the smudge tool to blend them. Last, I flattened the image. The hardest part was tracing the facial features and the easiest part was making the background.

Cartoon Version of Masterpiece Evil Queen




To create my cartoon, I first chose a masterpiece by Raphael. I then added another layer and traced the masterpiece. My cartoon was going to be Evil Queen so I colored the clothing black and purple. After, I tried to find a picture of Evil Queen. It was hard finding photos because they were all blurry. I finally found a photo and made it less blurry. Then I added it to my picture. After, I found a background that looks like she is outside at night, and flattened all the layers. The easiest part was tracing and coloring/shading the photo. The hardest part was finding a face that would match with my masterpiece and wouldn't be too blurry.

The Scream Project


When creating the scream project, I first had to trace the background and color/shade it in. For the sky and the background, I took two colors and using the smudge tool, I blended them together, I wanted the background to look like it was some sort of portal or the end of the world is coming. After, I had to add my face to the person. It was hard and confusing knowing how to transport the image and make it the right size to fit the persons head. In my opinion, part II was more challenging than part 1.

Mona Lisa Project




To create the Mona Lisa, I had to first trace it. It was hard to trace because if there were gaps, I couldn't use the paint bucket. After I finished tracing, I started on coloring and shading the face. I used a gradient filter for the face and the hair. After, I created eyebrows for the Mona Lisa and colored the shirt turquoise. I painted the shawl dark blue and I put a design on the collar. After I finished coloring and shading the Mona Lisa, I added small details painting her nails and adding eyeshadow. Lastly, I added a beach background. The hardest part of creating the Mona Lisa was trying to trace it not having any gaps and making it look realistic. The easiest part was coloring and shading in the Mona Lisa.
